Job summary

ACC New Zealand is seeking a Senior Reporting Analyst to join the Health Analytics Team within the Analytics & Reporting function. You will design and deliver reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytical products to support evidence-based decision making and improved performance.

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into insights, and lead reporting improvements while mentoring the team.

Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • Have 5+ years' relevant experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Bring strong SQL and Power BI skills, with experience in Snowflake, dbt, Python, Git, or similar tools highly regarded.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytical products that inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into meaningful reporting and insights.

About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

We're looking for a talented Senior Reporting Analyst to join our Health Analytics Team within ACC's Analytics & Reporting function. You'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting, analytics, and insights that support evidence-based decision-making and improve business performance.

The Health Analytics Team helps ACC better understand performance, identify opportunities, and support positive outcomes through data-driven insights and reporting. We primarily partner with System Commissioning and Performance, with a focus on Health Services, Health Partnerships, and contract and service monitoring.

This is a secondment opportunity through to August 2027 within the Health Analytics team and can be based from listed ACC hub locations - Wellington/ Hamilton/ Dunedin.

  • Have experience leading analytical work and supporting the development of analytical capability across a team.
  • This role requires you to be eligible to work in New Zealand.

The appointing salary for the role is between $101,287 and $119,161, and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
