Job summary

ACC New Zealand in Wellington is seeking a Senior Response Analyst to respond to Official Information Act, Ministerial, media and business information requests. You will gather and analyse information, provide context and commentary, and support informed decision-making across ACC.

You will lead quality assurance, coach analysts, and drive continuous improvement while overseeing a central triage service for Analytics and Reporting requests.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in analysis, reporting, business insights or data analytics.
• Proven experience working with customers and stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs.
• Extensive experience analysing, manipulating and presenting data using SQL and other analytical tools.
• Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and communicate clear, concise written insights.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting the development of other analysts.
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience identifying and implementing process enhancements.
• Strong relationship management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Official Information Act, Ministerial, media and business information requests.
• Lead the Response Team's quality assurance and coach analysts.
• Provide centralised triage for Analytics and Reporting requests and allocate work.
• Support the Response Manager with stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.
• Analyse information and provide context, commentary and caveats for decision-making.
