Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Design Engineer for a fully remote role to lead conceptual and detailed process designs for industrial chemical facilities, translating client needs into safe, efficient solutions. You will drive process simulations, PFDs and P&IDs, perform HAZOP studies, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years in process design for industrial chemical facilities.
- Experience with Aspen Plus, HYSYS or Chemcad and CAD tools.
- Strong safety, PFD/PID, and control philosophy development.
Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual and detailed process designs for chemical plants.
- Perform simulations and calculations to optimize designs.
- Conduct HAZOP studies and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with clients and other engineering disciplines.
- Mentor junior engineers and develop design standards.
- Support construction and commissioning phases.
