Placements24 is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer for a fully remote position. The role focuses on designing, analyzing, and optimizing chemical processes, with involvement in scale-up and new manufacturing techniques.

You will work with a global team, contributing to process improvement and safety. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus and HYSYS.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in chemical process engineering.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) desired.
• Strong knowledge of unit operations, thermodynamics, and chemical principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication for remote collaboration.
• Experience with PFDs and P&IDs is required.
• Familiarity with process safety concepts is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and optimize chemical processes for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Run process simulations and modeling to predict performance and identify improvements.
• Develop and review PFDs and P&IDs.
• Troubleshoot process issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and project management to meet goals.
• Prepare operating procedures, process descriptions, and reports.
• Participate in process safety reviews and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support scale-up from lab/pilot to commercial production.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes.
