Job summary

Cater Plus is seeking a Chef for the Rangiura Rest Home in Putāruru to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals for around 70 residents daily. You will join a supportive kitchen team and work closely with the Chef Manager to ensure meals meet planning and quality standards.

This role emphasizes food safety, presentation, and a strong work ethic within a collaborative environment that values exceptional service and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' relevant chef experience.
• Experience preparing meals in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and dietary requirements.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Genuine passion for food and customer service.
