Job summary

ACC New Zealand is seeking a Strategic Learning & Capability Partner in Wellington or Auckland. You will work as a senior internal consultant, partnering with Executive and senior leaders to strengthen organisational performance and shape the capabilities ACC needs for the future.

You will influence strategic investments, guide capability priorities, and collaborate with leaders to deliver measurable impact, including initiatives like AI literacy and emerging workforce capabilities identified in

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience diagnosing complex organisational challenges and providing strategic, evidence-based recommendations.
Experience in organisational development, capability strategy, workforce transformation, performance consulting or capability leadership.
Experience influencing Executive and senior leaders on capability, workforce and organisational priorities.
Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders to identify capability needs and shape investment decisions.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data, insights and evidence to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.
Experience translating strategic capability priorities into practical solutions, including learning and non-learning interventions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and influence diverse audiences.
Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration and relationship management capability.
Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in organisational systems and practices.

Responsibilities

Partner with executives to strengthen organisational performance and shape capabilities ACC needs for the future.
Define enterprise-wide capabilities such as AI literacy, commercial capability and evolving workforce capabilities identified in ACC's Strategic Workforce Plan.
Influence strategic investment decisions and guide capability priorities.
Work with leaders to solve complex organisational challenges and deliver measurable impact.
