Job summary

PERSOL in New Zealand is seeking a senior HR professional to strengthen organisational capabilities through competency-driven growth, job profile development, and employee engagement initiatives.

You will partner with HR peers to embed competency frameworks into talent acquisition, L&D, and career progression, design leadership programs across levels, and create practical tools to help managers apply new frameworks in daily discussions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience, preferably in Learning & Development (L&D) and/or HR Business Partnering roles.
• Prior experience developing, implementing, or managing competency frameworks and learning initiatives is advantageous.
• Strong team player with excellent stakeholder management capabilities in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and mapping of job profiles and competencies across divisions.
• Partner with HR stakeholders to embed competency frameworks into talent acquisition, learning, and career progression.
• Develop practical tools and guides to help managers apply competency frameworks in daily talent discussions.
• Design and facilitate leadership development programmes for a range of levels, from first-line supervisors to senior management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development solutions.
