Job summary

Temperzone Limited in Auckland seeks a Senior Internal Sales Engineer to support contractors, consultants and customers with accurate quotations, technical guidance and product selection advice. You will work with Internal Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Manufacturing to deliver HVAC solutions that meet customer requirements and project outcomes.

This is a technically focused role requiring knowledge of HVAC systems, strong communication and the ability to manage multiple projects and

Qualifications

• A Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent HVAC industry experience.
• At least 5 years' experience in HVAC engineering, design, applications, estimating, or technical sales.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning and mechanical services systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for standard and custom HVAC equipment.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
• Provide technical advice and product selection support to contractors and consultants.
• Perform equipment selections and system calculations.
• Liaise with Engineering and Manufacturing teams regarding custom solutions and lead times.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive and professional service.
• Maintain accurate quotation and project records.
• Stay current with industry developments, HVAC technologies, and competitor offerings.
