Job summary

Econair Services Limited seeks a Senior HVAC Engineer to develop technically robust and commercially practical HVAC and mechanical services solutions that meet client expectations and company standards. You will prepare practical design solutions and support project delivery while building strong client relationships.

Day-to-day tasks include HVAC system designs, performing load calculations, and creating technical drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and general HVAC principles for commercial systems.
• Proficiency in HVAC Design, including system layout and equipment selection.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring staff, and coordinating with contractors and clients.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC system designs and system layouts.
• Perform load calculations to meet client specs and standards.
• Prepare technical drawings and ensure design compliance with codes.
• Collaborate with project managers, technicians and clients, and provide technical leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to safety, quality, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and general HVAC principles, with experience in commercial systems.
• Proficiency in HVAC Design, including system layout, load calculations, and equipment selection.
• Relevant engineering degree or technical qualification in mechanical or HVAC engineering.
• Experience in leading projects, mentoring technical staff, and coordinating with contractors and clients.
• Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently on-site.
