Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead and optimize electrical maintenance across critical infrastructure. The role emphasizes developing maintenance strategies, guiding technicians, and ensuring safe operations in a challenging setting.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with industrial electrical systems and a proven track record in reliability-centered maintenance, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with extensive experience.
8+ years in electrical maintenance with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Deep knowledge of industrial electrical systems including high-voltage equipment, motors, VFDs, and PLCs.
Experience with CMMS software and reliability-centered maintenance.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical maintenance technicians, ensuring high performance and safety standards.
Oversee complex troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical machinery, control systems, and power distribution.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, root causes of failure, and opportunities for system improvement.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to electrical maintenance operations.
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets effectively to ensure cost efficiency and operational readiness in Queenstown.
