Amazon Web Services New Zealand Limited seeks a Principal Account Executive for NSD to bring credible, highly specialised expertise to New Zealand's NSD community. The role requires technical knowledge and experience in the defence industry, with the ability to maintain security clearances and engage with customer leaders across fields of expertise.

Qualifications

15+ years of professional or military experience.
8+ years of technology sales, or 5+ years of technology sales experience.
Experience with government procurement and contracting process.
Experience with C-level sales and strategic partnership building.
Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and reacting with urgency, or prioritizing multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Set and deliver the vision, strategy, and results as opportunities and strategy are defined.
Lead others as a subject matter expert through large, challenging initiatives and distinguish between doors that are one-way vs two-way.
Distil input from large customer segments and stakeholders to design and drive the right long-term solution.
Deliver with independence and discernment.
Influence team priorities and business strategy across programs and possibly across countries.
Develop future leaders and participate in recruitment.
