Job summary

New Zealand Defence Force in Wellington seeks a Principal Advisor Capability Security to join the Security Delivery team within Defence Security, providing in-depth security guidance for NZDF capability and infrastructure projects. You will embed Protective Security Requirements across the project lifecycle and assure conformity with NZDF security policies.

Responsibilities

• Engage with project teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Advise on Protective Security Requirements, policy, and procedures.
• Review project documentation and technical designs and advise on amendments.
• Raise risks and issues to senior leadership.
• Present information and findings to senior leadership as needed.
• Write user-friendly documentation to ensure security policy compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes.
