Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong production-grade backend depth in C#/.NET.
• Cloud-native architecture and Azure experience with .NET.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems and RESTful APIs.
• Fluency with MongoDB, PostgreSQL or SQL Server and data modeling.
• Test automation across unit, component, integration and end-to-end levels.
• CI/CD, trunk-based development, Docker and deployment pipelines.
• Monitoring, alerting and observability in production systems.
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools and agents with code review and verification.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards through feedback.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• This is a hands-on senior role with real architectural weight behind it.
• Contribute significantly to architecture and system design decisions across the platform
• Direct AI coding tools and agents as a primary delivery mechanism, rigorously reviewing, correcting and verifying their output before anything ships
• Mentor other engineers and lift the technical standard of the squad through code review and knowledge sharing
• Build and evolve microservices and event-driven systems with RESTful APIs
• Own test automation across unit, component, integration and end to end levels
• Support production systems through monitoring, alerting and observability practices
• Work within CI/CD pipelines and trunk-based development to ship reliably

WHAT YOU NEED

• We're after strong, production grade backend depth in .NET and genuine comfort directing AI tools, not just using them..
• Strong production backend experience in C#/.NET
• Cloud-native architecture and delivery experience on Azure with .NET
• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems and RESTful APIs
• Fluency in MongoDB, PostgreSQL or SQL Server, with the ability to reason across data models
• Test automation experience spanning unit, component, integration and end to end levels
• CI/CD, trunk-based development, Docker and deployment pipeline experience
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and observability in production systems
• Serious, hands-on use of AI coding tools or agents, including reviewing, correcting and verifying AI output before it ships
• Ability to mentor other engineers and raise technical standards through code review and feedback
