Job summary

Kirk Roberts Consulting Engineers Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician in Christchurch to own projects from concept through to detailed design and construction. You will deliver high-quality architectural documentation and coordinate across structural, civil, geotechnical and other disciplines with clients and internal teams.

You will lead BIM documentation using Revit, support contract administration and guide junior staff, advancing architectural tools and processes

Qualifications

Experienced Architectural Technician with NZ consultancy/construction experience.
Strong Revit and BIM documentation skills.
Ability to independently manage project documentation and deliverables.
Knowledge of NZ Building Code and consent processes.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation and coordination of architectural documentation from concept to construction.
Produce BIM documentation, drawings and specifications using Revit.
Coordinate architectural documentation with structural, civil, geotechnical and other disciplines.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams throughout project delivery.
Support project administration, contract management, site meetings and inspections.
Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.
Develop and maintain architectural tools, templates, specifications and processes.
