Job summary

Archway Recruitment represents a respected Christchurch architectural practice seeking a Technical Manager / Project Architect to lead technical delivery from concept to completion. You will guide project teams, mentor junior staff and ensure documentation, QA, and coordination meet the highest standards across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in Architecture, strong Revit/BIM capability, NZ Building Code knowledge, and proven

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Architecture.
Strong knowledge of documentation, detailing, and construction methods.
NZ experience leading / delivering commercial projects.
Advanced Revit and BIM capabilities.
Leadership and mentoring experience.
Understanding of the NZ Building Code.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
Oversee QA processes and documentation standards across project teams.
Producing and reviewing high-quality Revit documentation.
Managing consultant coordination and multidisciplinary project delivery.
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to Architects, Graduates and Technicians.
Supporting project planning, programme management and delivery outcomes.
Ensuring compliance with the NZ Building Code and relevant standards.
Driving continuous improvement of systems, processes and documentation quality.
