Job summary

Anzor is New Zealand’s leading supplier of stainless steel fasteners with 12 branches nationwide. We’re seeking a motivated salesperson to grow external accounts in Palmerston North, win new business, and represent the Anzor brand with pride.

You’ll manage building & construction accounts, exceed targets, and deliver outstanding service while leveraging strong communication skills and tech-savvy problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Training and development support your success.

Job description

We’re looking for a motivated salesperson with technical problem‑solving skills to join our Palmerston North team. In this role, you’ll manage key building & construction accounts, grow new business, and represent the Anzor brand with pride.

About the Role:

• Your number one priority will be to help us grow the Anzor brand and user base in the building & construction space, by acquiring new customers every month
• Identify opportunities, hunt out new business, and deliver exceptional customer service
• Drive sales growth and meet revenue targets
• Manage strong customer relationships through outstanding communication skills
• Work well with the wider teams and help the branch out when needed

We’re after someone:

• With sales experience and a genuine interest in developing a career in external sales
• Comfortable delivering on, and exceeding targets
• With existing contacts/relationships in the building & construction sector (would be advantageous)
• Who has a great sense of humour and strong communication skills
• Tech‑savvy, quick to learn, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
• Who has experience with fasteners or trade‑related industries (preferred, not essential)
