Job summary

Christchurch Cleaning Supplies is seeking a motivated, customer- and sales-focused person to join our busy team in Christchurch. You will maintain relationships with existing clients and source new business opportunities, helping us grow in the Canterbury region.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, with a company vehicle, boots, and a uniform provided. Occasional travel may be required, and you should be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Full driver's license required.
• Physically fit; able to lift up to 25kg.
• Able to work under pressure with good attention to detail.
• Customer-focused with professional presentation at all times.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Christchurch Cleaning Supplies has been a family owned and operated business for over 45 years. We service our customers in Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region and outer areas within the South Island.

We sell cleaning supplies to commercial cleaners, hospitality, schools and anyone else in-between.

About the role

We are seeking to employ a motivated, customer and sales focused person to join our busy team.

In this role, the suitable person will maintain relationships with our existing clients and source and secure new opportunities and new business.

Clients will mainly be based in Christchurch. Occasional out of town travel may be required.

You will need to be able to work effectively on your own and also be a team player.

Qualifications and skills

• A full driver's license is required
• Lifting of weights up to 25kg is required, so the job holder must be physically fit and able to perform this duty
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Customer focused and professional presentation at all times

The job is a full time position, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
