Harmony Auto is expanding its premium showroom leadership in New Zealand. We seek a Sales Manager to oversee daily showroom and digital sales, lead a high-performing team, and achieve volume and profitability targets while delivering best-in-class customer service.

Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will drive KPI-based performance, manage vehicle inventory and the end-to-end customer journey, and collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and events.

Formación

• Proven experience in automotive sales management or premium luxury retail.
• Track record of meeting sales and profitability targets.
• Passion for EVs and PHEVs; knowledge of NZ EV market advantageous.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience using CRM/DMS platforms.
• Full NZ driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Permanent working rights in New Zealand.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve dealership sales and profitability targets.
• Drive sales performance through KPI management, lead conversion, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Oversee showroom operations, vehicle inventory, test drives, and vehicle deliveries.
• Manage the end-to-end customer journey from digital enquiry to vehicle handover.
• Ensure accurate CRM/DMS records and compliance with NZ regulations.
• Deliver a premium luxury customer experience and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Identify new business opportunities, fleet partnerships, and market growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and lead generation activities.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to improve results.
• Work with Business Manager to maximize F&I and aftermarket sales.

Due to the business development needs of Denza in New Zealand, "denza partners" are officially recruited to join in-store operations and jointly start the brand's development chapter in new markets.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, the Sales Manager will oversee daily showroom and digital sales operations, lead and develop a high-performing sales team, achieve dealership volume and profitability targets, and uphold the highest standards of premium customer service. This is a hands-on leadership position tailored for the modern automotive landscape. It requires deep commercial awareness, a strong grasp of the luxury/EV market, and a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive, fast paced dealership environment.

• Deliver a premium luxury customer experience and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Identify new business opportunities, fleet partnerships, and market growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and lead generation activities.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to improve results.
• Work closely with the Business Manager to maximize Finance & Insurance (F&I) and aftermarket sales.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in automotive sales management, dealership leadership, or premium luxury retail environments.
• Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, profitability goals, and margin performance.
• Passion for Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs), with knowledge of the NZ EV market being advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people management skills with the ability to build high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capability, and experience using CRM/DMS platforms.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering a premium ownership experience.
• Holds a full New Zealand Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Willing to complete Ministry of Justice criminal record and credit checks.
• Must have permanent working rights in New Zealand.
