PGG Wrightson in New Zealand seeks a dynamic Fruitfed Sales Manager to lead our national Fruitfed Supplies retail sales team. You will report to the National Manager and drive sales performance, develop a robust national strategy, and foster a high-performance culture across regions.

You’ll lead Area Sales Managers and Representatives, champion strategy, ensure alignment, travel regularly across New Zealand, and help shape the future of Fruitfed Supplies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading sales teams in horticulture or agri-business.
• Strong ability to develop and execute national sales strategies.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across levels.
• Financial management, compliance and risk awareness.
• Willingness to travel frequently across New Zealand.

PGG Wrightson is seeking a dynamic and strategic Fruitfed Sales Manager to lead our Fruitfed Supplies retail sales team across the nation. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of one of New Zealand's most respected horticultural supply businesses.

About the Role

As a key member of the leadership team, you will report to the National Manager - Fruitfed Supplies and be responsible for driving sales performance, developing and executing a robust national sales strategy, and fostering a high-performance culture across multiple regions.

You’ll lead and inspire a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) across the country, who are responsible for managing the retail store network within their respective regions. Each ASM oversees both the in-store teams and the field-based Representatives. A key part of your role will be to develop and champion sales strategy, ensure strategic alignment across all teams, and drive a culture focused on delivering and achieving strong commercial performance.

Ideally, you’ll have the following:

• Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally within the horticulture or agri-business sector
• Strong background in sales strategy, planning and execution, and presenting to small to medium groups.
• Experience and a passion for coaching, mentoring, motivating and developing high-performing teams to achieve results
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels
• Commercial acumen, with strengths in financial management, compliance, risk, and continuous improvement
• The flexibility to travel frequently throughout New Zealand
