Fruitfed Supplies, a unit within PGG Wrightson, is expanding its horticultural support in the Pukekohe region. We seek a passionate Horticultural Representative to deliver expert advice, build relationships with growers, and identify opportunities across Franklin to North Waikato.

You will join an experienced, supportive team backed by our local store and wider business, delivering practical solutions, training, and solid career development in a growing sector.

Qualifications

• Onsite/field experience with fruit and vegetable crops.
• Proven expertise in developing new business and achieving sales targets.
• Strong customer solutions focus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reasonable fitness for some physical work.
• Full, clean NZ driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout Franklin through to North Waikato.

Fruitfed Supplies is continuing to strengthen its support for the vegetable sector in the Pukekohe region. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service and expertise to our clients, and we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Horticultural Representative (THR) to join us, someone who brings strong knowledge of the horticulture sector and a genuine commitment to supporting growers.

About the Role:

This position focuses on the vegetable market in the Franklin/North Waikato Region. As a THR, you'll play a crucial role in growers' businesses, identifying crop issues, providing technical and sales advice to clients, and spotting new opportunities along the way.

Your ability to build strong relationships, combined with your passion for horticulture, will enable you to make a meaningful impact.

You won’t be going it alone, you’ll be part of an experienced, supportive team. Backed by our local store and wider business, you’ll collaborate, share knowledge, and roll up your sleeves to deliver practical, real‑world solutions that truly make a difference for our growers.

• A seasoned sales rep - in a different industry (who happens to know their way around a crop or two)
• Relevant knowledge, can also network and has a knack for building excellent relationships
• Or maybe you've got it all, and are looking for a shift, and to work for a company with a good culture and who care for their people
