Job summary

Pakuranga Intermediate in Auckland, NZ is seeking a Resource Teacher: Learning and Behaviour (RTLB) to support inclusive learning and remove barriers to student achievement. You will be a NZ-registered teacher (primary or secondary) with a strong commitment to culturally responsive practice and to working within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• NZ-registered teacher (primary or secondary) with culturally responsive practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of the NZ Curriculum.
• Driver's licence and own vehicle required.
• RTLB training or enrolment in Massey PG Diploma in Specialist Teaching.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, parents, and whānau to build inclusive learning environments.
• Support students to remove barriers to learning and help them thrive.
• Engage in RTLB duties across learning areas as needed.
• Commencement date by negotiation.
