Tuawhitu O Akarana (RTLB Cluster 7) seeks a highly skilled NZ registered teacher to join the team as Resource Teacher: Learning and Behaviour. You will collaborate with whānau, kaiako and specialist services to support ākonga across primary and intermediate years.

Tuawhitu O Akarana (RTLB Cluster 7) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced NZ registered teacher to join their team. The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and a commitment to culturally responsive, collaborative and strengths-based practice. They will have proven skills in supporting diverse learners in inclusive environments and experience in working collaboratively with others to meet the needs of ākonga. The ability to work across education sectors will also be an advantage e.g. primary–secondary, mainstream–Māori medium. RTLB experience and an RTLB qualification is desirable, however mandatory postgraduate training is provided. Applicants must hold a degree to meet the entry criteria to enrol in Massey’s Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching. Having a full licence and own vehicle is a requirement.
