Job summary

• Ability to work independently and flexibly across multiple schools in the cluster, with a professional work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Work across secondary (Years 7–15) and primary schools within the cluster.
• Support learners with additional needs and provide strategies for inclusion.
• Collaborate with kaiako to implement inclusive practices and curriculum delivery.
• Flexibly contribute to school transformation and school‑wide capability across the cluster.

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Resource teacher

We are seeking applications from NZ registered, experienced teachers to joinour team.

• Based in the Wairarapa and/or Upper Hutt.
• Secondary experience would be an advantage but you will also work across primary schools.
• You will be an innovative, enthusiastic, experienced NZ registered teacher with current curriculum knowledge.
• You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills withthe ability to facilitate change for kaiako and schools.
• You will have experience in how to support learners with additional needs, including those with behaviour challenges.
• You will be able to work independently and flexibly across the 54 schools in the cluster, demonstrating a professional work ethic.
• Knowledge of tikanga Māori and culturally responsive practice.
• A full driver's licence and vehicle is essential.
• Untrained RTLB are eligible to study at a postgraduate level for the mandatory qualification.
