Job summary

Tuawhitu O Akarana (RTLB Cluster 7) seeks a highly skilled NZ registered teacher to join the team as Resource Teacher: Learning and Behaviour. You will collaborate with whānau, kaiako and specialist services to support ākonga across primary and intermediate years.

The post includes funded postgraduate study and time to develop practice. You’ll work across local schools with professional learning opportunities and a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

NZ registered teacher or eligible for registration
Postgraduate training provided for the role
Degree required to enrol in Massey’s Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching

Responsibilities

Build strong partnerships with whānau, kaiako, school leaders and specialist services
Work across education sectors (primary–secondary, mainstream–Māori medium) to support learners
Provide inclusive, strengths-based support to diverse learners in RTLB settings
