Job summary

Ngā Hau e Whā Cluster is seeking an experienced RTLB to join the leadership team as a Practice Leader. You will collaborate with the Cluster Manager and RTLBs to guide practice, support casework and align with annual priorities.

You will model relational leadership, provide professional guidance, and coach staff to strengthen capability while ensuring culturally responsive practice across the cluster.

Qualifications

• Proven RTLB practitioner with strong leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor other RTLBs.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive practice.

Responsibilities

• As Practice Leader, work with the Cluster Manager and RTLBs to provide professional leadership and guidance across the cluster.
• Strengthen consistent RTLB practice, support effective casework and contribute to annual priorities.
• Foster strong relationships, drive continuous improvement, and coach others to grow.

Ngā Hau e Whā Cluster 28 covers 108 schools across the Wellington region from Wellington South to Pukerua Bay. Our RTLB are based in two offices: Titahi Bay Intermediate and Rewa Rewa School in Newlands.

The successfulapplicant will work across the Cluster.

We are seeking an experienced, relational and forward-thinking RTLB to join our leadership team as a Practice Leader (PL).

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about high-quality RTLB practice and, importantly, enjoys supporting others to grow, reflect and succeed.

As a Practice Leader, you will work alongside the Cluster Manager, other Practice Leaders and RTLB to provide professional leadership, guidance and support across the cluster. You will play an important role in strengthening consistent practice, supporting effective casework and contributing to our strategic and annual priorities.
