Job summary

Health New Zealand is seeking a Rostering Training Specialist in Auckland to support and enhance the Mahi ē Taea workforce system. You will train managers and staff, triage system queries, and drive continuous improvement in rostering practices to maximise efficiency.

You will work with Regional Rostering, payroll and HR teams to build user capability, deliver training sessions, create guides, and assist with pay runs to ensure smooth operations across the Northern Region.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused trainer with experience in rostering or workforce systems.
• Ability to interpret awards and workforce management processes.
• Strong communication and change management skills.
• Ability to create training materials and deliver sessions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline system support and training for managers and staff.
• Triage queries, identify recurring issues, and contribute to improvements.
• Develop user guides, training resources, and session materials.
• Support fortnightly pay run checks and ensure successful adoption of Mahi ē Taea.
