Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora in Whanganui is seeking a Workforce System Support Specialist to join the Payroll Stabilisation Project. You will provide frontline support to managers and staff using Mahi ē Taea (UKG Pro WFM), ensuring confident use of timecards and rostering processes.

You will triage queries, help identify issues, contribute to system improvements, and work with the Training Team to develop guides and resources.

Qualifications

  • This role requires a relevant qualification and/ or at least 3 years in workforce systems, payroll, rostering.
  • Experience with award interpretation systems and rostering processes is preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills and technical capability are essential.
  • Excellent communication and customer-focused service delivery is required.
  • Knowledge of Holidays Act 2003 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline support to managers and employees using Mahi ē Taea (UKG Pro WFM).
  • Triaging system queries, identifying recurring issues, and feeding back improvements.
  • Collaborate with Training Team on materials and user guides.
  • Assist with fortnightly payrun checks and improve customer experience.
  • Support adoption of workforce system with rostering and payroll teams.
