Minor Hotels’ Oaks Auckland Hotel is expanding its housekeeping team with multiple part-time positions in Auckland. We value energetic, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience and thrive in a team setting.

Responsibilities include thorough room cleaning, bed making, bathroom sanitation, and adherence to safety standards. Training and equipment are provided, with rotating shifts across days, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication with guests, team members and contractors.
• Ability to stand, bend and lift for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
• Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Oaks Auckland Hotel is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple part-time opportunities now available.

About the job:

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays\
