Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is seeking a proactive administrator to support the Division of Medicine at Middlemore Hospital. The role provides oversight, direction, and administrative support to Resident Medical Officer groups in collaboration with the Senior Medical Office team to maintain high-quality service delivery.

You will coordinate Registrar and House Officer rosters, liaise with key stakeholders, and ensure alignment with the NRA/RMO Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in healthcare and admin roles.
• Knowledge of the health sector and medical teams issues.
• Awareness of union collective agreements or HR exposure.
• Understanding of rosters, SECA, and RACP requirements.
• Strong IT skills: Outlook, Word, Excel (minimum).

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and cohesive direction to RMO groups.
• Coordinate Registrar and House Officer groups with SMO teams.
• Liaise with NRA/RMO Office and Division of Medicine Rostering staff.
• Provide administrative support and stakeholder liaison.
• Ensure service delivery is maintained and optimised.
