Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Whanganui is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead, inspire and drive the store’s performance while delivering outstanding customer service and operational excellence. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee sales, costs, staffing, and inventory, coach your team, and build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships to support growth in a dynamic, locally owned business.

About theRole

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and day-to-day operation of the store. You will lead and support your team to achieve sales and profitability targets while ensuring exceptional customer service and the highest standards of operational excellence. Working closely with department managers, support functions, suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders, you will drive business performance and continuous improvement. This role requires flexibility to support the needs of the business, including regular weekend work.
