Job summary

Hato Hone St John Howick in Auckland is seeking an experienced retail manager to lead the store and deliver exceptional customer service in a community-focused role.

This permanent part-time Sunday role runs from 9:30am to 4:30pm, with the possibility to cover the Store Manager on other days. You will oversee operations, stock, rostering and reporting while actively promoting the store in the local community.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced retail manager with a genuine passion for community and a drive to achieve? We are searching for a dynamic leader to take charge of our vibrant Howick store. This exciting Sunday role offers plenty of variety and autonomy, providing you with the opportunity to make a real positive impact!

This role is permanent part-time role working Sunday each week from 9:30am - 4:30pm.

Ideally you would also be available to cover for the Store Manager on other days of the week, if required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• At least 2 years of solid experience in retail management, visual merchandising and an interest in second-hand goods
• Proven experience successfully managing a high-performingteam
• A highly motivated, proactive “can-do” attitude that drives you to identify and act on opportunities for improvement
• A results-focused mindset, with a passion for success and achieving set targets
• Ability to recruit, lead and motivate volunteers
• Great relationship building skills and strong community focus
• Be at least 18 years of age and have full eligibility to work in New Zealand.
