Retailworld Resourcing in Auckland is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to lead on the shop floor and support a team of about 14 colleagues.

You’ll drive sales, coach staff, uphold brand standards and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a busy, high‑volume environment.

About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with an operations-focused Store Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store. You will be a visible and motivating leader on the shop floor, leading from the front and supporting a team of approximately 14 team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences and strong commercial results.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Store Manager with all day-to-day store operations
• Leading from the front on the shop floor and driving sales performance
• Coaching, motivating and developing a high-energy retail team
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining strong brand standards
• Supporting stock management, visual merchandising and store presentation
• Taking ownership of the store in the Store Manager's absence
• Driving team performance and maintaining operational excellence across the business
