Job summary

NZ LHCK Limited is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead operations in Palmerston North. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, planning menus with Chefs, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

It is a permanent, full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week and roaster hours from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday. Wages range from $28 to $36 NZD per hour depending on skill and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience or a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Excellent customer service mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Planning menus in consultation with Chefs.
• Planning and organising special functions.
• Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
• Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional, and of suitable appearance.
• Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
• Selecting, training, and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
• Assisting with taking reservations, greeting guests, and taking orders as needed.
