Job summary

A&A ENTERPRISES LIMITED – North Shore, North Island is seeking a competent duty manager to join our restaurant team. You will oversee day-to-day operations, reservations, food and beverage services, and customer servicing to ensure a smooth service.

The role requires 2 years of relevant experience or NZQF Level 4 qualification in business/management/hospitality, strong communication and teamwork, and solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 4 qualification in fields relevant to business/management/hospitality OR
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

Responsibilities

• Manages, organises, oversees and controls the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including reservations, food and beverage services, and customer servicing.
• Supervises front-of-house staff, handling customer inquiries, complaints and feedback
• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, security policies, food hygiene policies
• Overseeing other administrative tasks such as stock control, rostering and staff hiring and training

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week. Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week (rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays)

Pay Rate: $28 – $36.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:

Our Restaurant is seeking a competent duty manager to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining the daily operation of our restaurant.
