Avani Queenstown Hotel is seeking a service-driven Restaurant Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis in Queenstown, New Zealand.

You will oversee the Food & Beverage team across shifts, delivering high-quality guest experiences and maintaining service standards.

Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in hospitality, with strong communication and leadership; flexibility to rotate weekends.

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on supervisory experience in a food and beverage or restaurant setting.
Solid understanding of alcohol (preferred but not essential).
Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a food and beverage environment.
Strong understanding of hospitality operations and high-quality service delivery.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Professional presentation and the ability to lead by example.
Reliability and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Serving food and beverages to guests in the hotel restaurant with professional and attentive service.
Leads, motivates, and coaches the Food & Beverage team to deliver consistent service standards.
Monitors service quality and ensuring consistency across all shifts and service periods.
Manages guest enquiries and resolves service issues promptly and professionally.
Supports inventory management, stock control, and day-to-day Food & Beverage operations.
Works closely with management to maintain high-quality service and efficient daily operations.
