Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Albany, Auckland, is seeking a Residential Technical Sales Representative to support builders, fabricators and trade partners with technical advice, product training and sales support across our residential hardware portfolio.

You will develop relationships, manage territory activity, deliver product demonstrations and contribute to growth of Smart Residential and Internal Hardware categories while travelling regularly within the territory to strengthen business relationships.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements include proven success in sales or technical sales within building products or related industry.
• Strong relationship-building skills with customers and trade networks.
• Ability to communicate technical product information and provide demonstrations and training.
• Experience identifying opportunities, managing leads and converting activity into sales outcomes.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and territory planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships across builders, fabricators, joiners and trade partners.
• Manage territory activity, engagement and follow-up to improve conversions.
• Deliver technical advice, product demonstrations and training across residential portfolio.
• Drive growth across Smart Residential and Internal Hardware categories.
• Support customers with product selection and technical enquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate customer support and growth initiatives.
• Contribute market intelligence and customer feedback to support business decisions.
• Represent ASSA ABLOY at trade events and customer activities.
