Job summary

ASSA ABLOY in Christchurch seeks a Residential Technical Sales Representative to grow residential brands across the South Island. You will provide technical advice, product training and sales support to builders, fabricators and trade partners.

Based in Christchurch with regular travel across the lower South Island, you will develop relationships, deliver demonstrations, and drive growth for residential hardware and smart home solutions within a global leader in access solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales, account management or technical sales in building products or related industry.
• Strong relationship-building with customers and trade partners.
• Ability to communicate technical product information and provide demonstrations and training.
• Experience identifying opportunities, managing leads and converting activity into sales.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and territory planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships across builders, fabricators, joiners and trade partners.
• Manage territory activity, customer engagement and follow-up to improve conversion.
• Deliver technical advice, product demonstrations and customer training.
• Drive growth across Smart Residential and Internal Hardware product categories.
• Support customers with product selection and technical inquiries.
• Coordinate internal teams to support customer growth initiatives.
