Job summary

ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in access solutions, seeks a Residential Technical Sales Representative to support Auckland-based customers and driving growth for residential hardware and smart solutions. You will train, advise and partner with builders, fabricators and trade customers while expanding relationships across the territory.

The role requires a hands-on sales approach, technical literacy and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven success in sales, account management or technical sales within building products, construction, or related industry.
• Strong relationship-building skills with customers and trade networks.
• Ability to communicate technical product information and provide demonstrations.
• Experience turning leads into sales outcomes.
• Territory planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with builders, fabricators, joiners and trade partners.
• Manage territory activity and follow-up to improve conversions.
• Deliver technical advice, product demonstrations and training.
• Drive growth across Smart Residential and Internal Hardware product categories.
• Support customers with product selection, specification guidance and technical enquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate customer support and growth initiatives.
• Represent ASSA ABLOY at trade events, customer activities and market development initiatives.
