Job summary

Qualifications

• Full New Zealand driver’s licence with ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• Experience working in a residential care facility or with people with complex needs.
• Ability to manage risk and de-escalate in demanding situations.
• Proactive contribution to Corrections initiatives.
• Ability to maintain clear and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to achieve reintegrative goals.
• Supervise residents both within the residence and on community outings.
• Participate in residents' rehabilitative and reintegrative activities.
• Model pro-social behaviour.
