Job summary

Toyota New Zealand is seeking a Rental Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term basis to manage rental vehicle orders from allocation to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while supporting customers and the Toyota Store network.

Based in the New Vehicles team, you will coordinate vehicle allocations, deliveries and fulfilment with internal teams and external stakeholders, delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, customer support, sales support or operational coordination.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of rental vehicle orders from allocation to delivery.
• Coordinate stock, allocations and delivery activities across the Toyota network.
• Collaborate with Toyota Stores, rental customers and internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Proactively monitor orders and resolve challenges to keep fulfilment on track.
• Provide reporting, pricing and operational insights to support decision-making.
• Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Looking for a role where you can combine customer service, coordination and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment?

We're looking for a Rental Coordinator to join Toyota New Zealand on a 12-month fixed-term basis covering parental leave. This role plays a key part in ensuring rental vehicle orders are planned, processed and delivered accurately and on time, supporting both our customers and Toyota Store network. Based within our New Vehicles team, you'll work with a wide range of internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate vehicle allocations, deliveries and fulfilment activities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Take ownership of rental vehicle orders, ensuring a seamless journey from allocation through to delivery.
• Keep vehicles moving by coordinating stock, allocations and delivery activities across the Toyota network.
• Partner with Toyota Stores, rental customers and internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Proactively monitor orders, solve challenges and keep fulfilment activities on track.
• Provide accurate reporting, pricing and operational insights that support effective decision-making.
• Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and performance.

You're a motivated team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You build strong relationships, stay organised under pressure and take a proactive approach to solving problems.

Ideally, you'll have:
