Job summary

Gallagher seeks a Sales & Engagement Specialist to accelerate eShepherd adoption across New Zealand. You will generate leads, build a robust sales pipeline, and guide farmers from first contact to close, collaborating with Business Development Managers and Customer Success.

Role emphasizes remote work with occasional travel to farm visits and events, leveraging your agri-food knowledge and customer relationship skills to grow adoption nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, account management or customer engagement.
• Experience in agriculture, AgTech, livestock, dairy, grazing systems or rural industry.
• Strong understanding of livestock farming, grazing systems and pasture management.

Responsibilities

• Generate, qualify and convert leads into sales opportunities.
• Source new opportunities through industry networks, referrals, events and prospecting activities.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from first contact through to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Utilise CRM and reporting tools to manage customer activity, forecasting and pipeline visibility.
• Support regional sales strategies and contribute to the growth of eShepherd adoption across New Zealand.
• Build trusted relationships with farmers, producers and rural stakeholders.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, tailoring solutions to individual farming operations.
• Lead customer conversations, address objections and negotiate positive outcomes.
• Partner with Customer Success to support onboarding, adoption and long-term customer value.
• Monitor sales performance and provide insights on lead generation, conversion, pipeline growth and revenue performance.
