Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management is seeking a Sales & Engagement Specialist to grow adoption of eShepherd across New Zealand. This predominantly work-from-home role involves generating leads, building a strong pipeline, and guiding livestock producers through the sales journey with support from regional teams.

You'll travel occasionally for customer visits and field days, demonstrating value and tailoring solutions to beef and dairy operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, account management or customer engagement.
• Ability to build pipeline and convert opportunities into sales.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers in rural sectors.
• CRM experience and commercial acumen.
• Interest or knowledge in livestock farming and grazing systems.
• Self-motivated, resilient and results-focused.

Responsibilities

• Generate, qualify and convert leads into sales opportunities.
• Source new opportunities through networks, events and prospecting.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from first contact to close.
• Utilise CRM and reporting tools for forecasting and pipeline visibility.
• Support regional sales strategies to grow eShepherd adoption in NZ.
• Build trusted relationships with farmers and rural stakeholders.
• Conduct product demonstrations and tailor solutions to operations.
• Lead customer conversations and negotiate positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to onboard and drive value.
