Job summary

Gallagher's eShepherd team in New Zealand is seeking a Sales & Engagement Specialist to grow adoption of our virtual fencing technology among livestock producers. This hands-on role focuses on leads, pipeline and customer engagement.

You will work with BDMs, Customer Success and the wider team, delivering demonstrations, tailoring solutions and guiding customers through the sales journey. A predominantly work-from-home role with occasional travel to farms and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development or customer engagement.
• Experience in agriculture, AgTech or rural industries.
• Strong understanding of livestock farming and grazing systems.
• Proven ability to build pipeline and convert opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads, qualify opportunities and drive conversions.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from contact to close.
• Work with CRM to forecast and report on activity.
• Demo products and tailor solutions to farming operations.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to support onboarding.
• Travel for customer visits, field days and events.
