Alignerr is seeking a Data Scientist (Masters) to act as an AI data trainer in a remote, hourly contract. You will design complex data science challenges, generate rigorous ground-truth solutions, and audit AI outputs using a suite of ML tools and frameworks.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in data science or a quantitative field, with strong ML/NLP foundations and experience communicating technical results.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or a quantitative field with data analysis focus.
• Strong foundation in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, and big data tech.
• Ability to communicate complex algorithmic results clearly in writing.
• Self-directed, reliable, and capable of independent technical work.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced data science challenges spanning optimization, inference, and model evaluation.
• Author ground-truth solutions with Python/R scripts, SQL queries, and derivations.
• Audit AI-generated code and assess accuracy, efficiency, and correctness.
• Identify AI reasoning failures and provide structured feedback to improve models.
• Document failure modes across ML theory and data pipelines.
