Alignerr is seeking an Electrical Engineering Expert to help train and evaluate AI models remotely. You’ll craft advanced engineering scenarios, author step-by-step solutions, and audit AI outputs against IEEE/NEC standards.

Flexible, async contract of 10–40 hours per week. Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering with expertise in VLSI, control systems, signal processing, or power electronics, and can communicate complex ideas clearly in writing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, signal processing, or power electronics.
• Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in writing.
• High attention to detail when reviewing equations, circuit logic, and engineering documentation.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging problems — Create advanced electrical engineering scenarios across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, and signal processing to rigorously test AI reasoning.
• Author gold‑standard solutions — Write detailed, step‑by‑step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation.
• Audit AI outputs — Review and evaluate AI‑generated circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and technical explanations for accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC)
• Improve AI reasoning — Identify logical flaws in AI‑generated responses and provide structured, actionable feedback that sharpens model performance on engineering tasks
• Work on your schedule — Complete assignments asynchronously, with full flexibility over when and how much you work
