Job summary

Bupa Longwood Care Home in Riverton, Southland, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Permanent Full Time role, averaging 32 hours per week with rotating AM, PM and Night shifts.

You will deliver person-centred care, align with Nursing Council of New Zealand competencies, and lead care delivery while embracing new care product innovations and quality improvement. AEWV sponsorship is available for internationally qualified nurses.

Qualifications

  • Current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
  • NZ aged care experience preferred; other RN backgrounds considered
  • Demonstrated improvements in care plans, assessments and documentation quality
  • Identifies health changes early and acts to ensure safety
  • Communicates effectively with residents, whānau, teams and providers
  • Maintains clinical standards, accurate documentation and quality improvement
  • Confident using clinical systems, records and reporting tools

The purpose of this job

At Bupa Longwood Care Home in Riverton, you'll join a close-knit clinical team supporting residents across a well-established 52-bed care home offering Rest Home and Hospital level care.

We're actively open to supporting the right candidate with Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) sponsorship, making this an excellent option for internationally qualified nurses already in New Zealand or those looking to continue their aged care career with a long-term employer.
