Job summary

Bupa Northhaven Care Home on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula, Red Beach, is hiring a Caregiver for a permanent part-time role. You will support residents with mobility, maintain documentation, and foster social engagement in a warm, safe environment.

Join a multidisciplinary team, hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification, and commit to providing compassionate care. Fixed rolling rosters and access to Bupa Campus are offered.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification.
• Bring proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment.
• Exhibit genuine passion for supporting the elderly.
• Possess confident communication and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Computer literacy across MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Hold legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.

Hours & Roster Details:

• Employment Type: Permanent Part-time
• Hours: Average 154hours over a 6 week roster period.
• Shift Time: 7.00am-1.00pm
• Roster Pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off (6-weekly rotating roster across Monday - Sunday)

Bupa Northhaven Care Home is located on the beautiful Whangaparāoa Peninsula in Red Beach, offering a relaxed coastal setting just north of Auckland. Northhaven provides rest home, hospital, and specialist dementia (psychogeriatric) care.

As a Caregiver, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to:

• Assist with mobility in line with individual care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation
• Encourage residents to engage in social activities and community life
• Help create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and your teammates
