Job summary

Bupa Windsor Park Care Home in Gore, Southland is looking for a caring Caregiver to support residents with mobility, daily tasks and social engagement. You’ll work with a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, person-centered care in a welcoming environment.

You’ll hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification with medication competency, have experience in aged care, and demonstrate excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 0–4 Caregiving qualification with current medication competency.
• Bring proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment.
• Exhibit genuine passion for supporting the elderly.
• Possess confident communication and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation.
• Encourage residents to engage in social activities and community life.

• This is a Casual role there is no guaranteed hours.

The purpose of this job

Located in Gore, Southland, Bupa Windsor Park Care Home is set amongst gardens with views of the Hokonui Hills.Care options include Rest Home, Hospital, and Dementia Care.

As a Caregiver, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to:

• Assist with mobility in line with individual care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation
• Encourage residents to engage in social activities and community life
• Help create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and your teammates

What you’ll need to make it possible

• Hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification, with current medication competency and a strong understanding of safe medication practices
• Bring proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment
• Exhibit genuine passion for supporting the elderly
• Possess confident communication and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Computer literacy across MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Hold legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
