Job summary

Bupa Rossendale Care Home in Enderley, Hamilton is seeking a Caregiver to support residents with mobility, documentation, and social activities while contributing to a warm, safe environment.

You will hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification, have medication competency, and work in a multidisciplinary team. The role offers a stable part-time schedule with rosters and access to learning and benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification with current medication competency.
• Bring proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment.
• Exhibit genuine passion for supporting the elderly.
• Possess confident communication and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Computer literacy across MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Hold legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.

Hours & Roster Details:

• Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
• Hours: Average of 24 hours/week ; 144 hours/6 weeks roster period
• Shift Time: 7am to 1pm/ 7am to 3pm/ 3pm to 11pm/ 4pm to 10pm
• Roster Pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off (6 weekly rotating roster across Monday-Sunday)

Located in Enderley, Hamilton, just minutes from the Waikato River, Bupa Rossendale Care Home offers Rest Home, Hospital, and Specialist Dementia (Psychogeriatric) Care.

As a Caregiver, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to:

• Assist with mobility in line with individual care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely care documentation
• Encourage residents to engage in social activities and community life
• Help create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and your teammates

What you’ll need to make it possible

• Hold a Level 0-4 Caregiving qualification, with current medication competency and a strong understanding of safe medication practices
• Bring proven experience in aged care or a comparable healthcare environment
• Exhibit genuine passion for supporting the elderly
• Possess confident communication and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

• Hold legal entitlement to work in New Zealand
