About the Role
FIT for Symptomatic helps people with bowel symptoms get theright care sooner, using a simple home test to help identify those who may needfurther investigation.
This is an administration role with a difference. Alongside managingreferrals, patient information and tracking systems, you will have regular telephonecontact with patients, helping them understand what happens next and supportingthem to stay engaged with their healthcare journey.
Your work will contribute directly to improving patient participation,timely access to care and equitable health outcomes across the region.
As a Regional Administrator, you will:
We arerecruiting for three fixed-term positions until June 2027, working Monday toFriday, with occasional evening or weekend work as required. Two positions are0.7 FTE (28 hours per week), and one position is 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week).

About the Team/Service/ Location
The FIT for Symptomatic and Colonoscopy programme is aregional service focused on supporting patients through their diagnosticpathway and improving access to timely care. Working as part of a collaborativeadministration team, you'll help coordinate referrals, maintain patientpathways, and engage directly with patients to support participation andequitable health outcomes.
This role is part of the Nelson Marlborough region, theremay be potential for some home-based and flexible working depending on serviceneeds and your skills. You'll work closely with clinical and administrativeteams across the region, helping to make a real difference for patients andwhānau.
